💠Developement of microwave sterilizer:
A microwave sterilizer has been developed by " The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology" . The sterilizer is named as "ATULYA".
This sterilizer is used to disintegrate Covid-19 virus under a temperature range between 56 degree to 60 degree centigrade. The device is cost effective and can be installed easily in the household. The weight of the sterilizer is about 3 kilogram.
The term sterilization is used to mean substances which is freed from microbes like bacteria, viruses, plasmodium and many other eukaryotic microbes. By this method this microbes are deactivated or killed or removed from that particular object.
The device ATULYA work on differential temperature which means creating two different temperature to destroy microbes.
💠Development of Alzheimer inhibitor by Jawaharlal Nehru centre for advanced scientific research.
For the disease Alzheimer JNCASR invented a a natural product. Traditionally used Berbine is converted into Ber-D. It is a antioxidant and it is soluble whereas Berbine is not well soluble and also so toxic for the cells. Isoquinoline which is a a natural product available in China and India it was also used previously.
The invented medicine Ber-D inhibit the formation of reactive oxygen species. It prevents the the biomolecules from damage that caused due to oxidation. It prevents the accumulation of amyloid beta which may metal dependent or independent peptides formed around the cells of the brain. This medicine also prevents the damage to the DNA.
💠Hospital care assistive robotic device (HCARD):
The device HCARD has been developed to to help the healthcare worker working in the frontline in the treatment of covid-19. It will help in in keeping the distance from covid-19 infected patients.
The device is about 80 kilogram HCARD was made by CSIR laboratory which is situated in Durgapur. The device can work in both manual and automatic procedure. The cost of the device is 5 lakh. It will help the healthcare provider to fight against the covid-19 more efficiently and maintaining a physical distance for their safety. The care provider will be e more comfortable and safe to work in the frontline.
💠WHO: World health organisation launchers covid-19 tools(Act):
WHO in collaboration with some organisation like CEPI,UNTAID, Global Fund etc launchers covid-19 tools (Act) accelerator. This will help in availing therapeutics ,diagnostic and development of vaccines in a speedy manner. It will also so help in giving equal importance to the rich and poor country.
US announced that they will not befunding WHO further. US Seth that WHO becomes China centric. China recently donated 30 million USD in addition to the 20 million USD donated in the month of March.
💠The world malaria day, 25th April
On 25th April world malaria day is celebrated around the world as this day is marked by the World health organisation.
In this year the motive of the world malaria day is " no malaria that is zero malaria starting from myself".
The world malaria Day was established on 60th session by the World health organisation in the year of 2007. It was established to make people aware of this disease. Before this, In 2001 Africa had already established the malaria Day. Later 44 countries signed the treaty on malaria in Africa summit on malaria.
💠DRDO mobile covid-19 testing lab launched:
Defence minister of India launched the the mobile covid-19 testing lab on24 April. This will help interesting the covid-19 thousand in a day.
It has been developed within 15 days keeping biosafety level 2 and biosafety level 3 in account. It is developed by maintaining the safety guided by World health organisation and ICMR. This will help in testing for the covid-19 in rapid manner which will enable testing up to 1000 sample per day.
